Dairy Business Milk Marketing Cooperative Joins Field to Market

Dairy Business Milk Marketing Cooperative (DBMMC) has joined Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture. Field to Market works to unite the agricultural supply chain in defining, measuring and advancing the sustainability of food, fiber and fuel production in the United States.

“It is exciting to be participating in such a forward-thinking organization,” said John Pagel, a Wisconsin dairy farmer and president of DBMMC. “Our members will benefit greatly by having a seat at the table to discuss continuous improvement with processors and retailers. And those other members of the milk supply chain will benefit from our insights as well.”

As a member in Field to Market, DBMMC will work with grower organizations, academia, conservation groups, public sector partners and leading companies to create opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, environmental quality and human well-being.

Field to Market engages in broad communication and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure a coordinated, outcomes-based approach to sustainable agriculture that is grounded in science. By providing measurement tools and resources, Field to Market helps growers and the supply chain track continuous improvement.
