Field to Market Welcomes Colorado State University as Newest Member

WASHINGTON, DC, September 24, 2015 — Field to Market: The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture announced today that Colorado State University has joined the Alliance.
 
Founded in 1870 as the Colorado Agricultural College, Colorado State University is now among the nation’s leading research universities. As a land-grant institution, Colorado State focuses its teaching, research and outreach on pressing global challenges, including the need to meet food demands for a global population that will top 9 billion by 2050.
 
As an active member in Field to Market, Colorado State will work together with grower organizations, academia, conservation groups, public sector partners and leading companies to catalyze opportunities for continuous improvement in productivity, environmental quality and human well-being across the agricultural value chain.
